- I’m a dance artist based in rural Herefordshire with an eco-activist walking practice I call tracktivism, which I’m developing through PhD research at the University of Manchester. I use walking to facilitate talking and listening; sound-recording conversational encounters with strangers as we talk about landscape and lifestyle in a changing climate. I am interested in how the aesthetic shaping of the walk and commitment of the walker guides the subsequent meandering of conversation and opens a space of embodied dialogue around politics and sustainability.
