  1. I am curating a dance residential in Dumfries and Galloway, Scotland this April 2024. We are focusing on the art of walking in our theme:
    Margaret Morris Movement Scotland
    Dance Residential 5th-8th April 2024
‘WALKING BAREFOOT , DANCING TO CREATE’
In the 1943 Margaret Morris held a summer school in the rural region of Dumfries and Galloway in South West Scotland. In 2024 MMM Scotland will host the 8th edition of the dance course at the same location-Kilquhanity. In ‘WALKING BAREFOOT, DANCING TO CREATE’ we will discover the importance Margaret Morris placed on natural walking in order to achieve freedom and ease of movement by exploring some of the many dance colour exercises she devoted to the art of walking. Alongside enjoying the health benefits of walking barefoot, we will use walking as a vehicle to improvise and as a starting point for our own creative journey.
