Statement

Using a multidisciplinary approach to making with walking, drawing and printmaking at its core, my current practice is investigating how a slowed-down and embodied awareness might invite a more dialogical or conversational interaction with ‘site’. In recent years I have become particularly interested in the vestiges of colonial land exploration and exploitation, leading me to walk and work in a number of post-industrial and culturally contested sites in Australia and overseas. This work has attempted to raise questions about how we use, understand and represent our relationship to these locations over time. I am currently based in Hobart, Tasmania undertaking a PhD at the Tasmanian College for the Arts.
