Statement

Together with one of my collegues, we are students of an MA in Social Design in Vienna. Both of us are foreigners in this country and we have decided to explore the city through engaging walking as a research method. We want to map out experiences, people, places thoughts and actions and find initiatives, which we could ge inspired by and present together with our own work, at the end of January. Walking for us is an opportunitiy to explore ideas and combine theory with participation, which is essential in our field and our desire to address political and social affairs in a contemporary context.
