My walking practice centers on walking as a tool for listening, affective mapping, and collective creation. Through guided walks with local communities, I explore how movement can activate memory, landscapes, and relationships to imagine new ways of living together. I use methodologies such as sensitive cartography, poetry, sound, and accessible mobile technologies to foster participation and a sense of care for the environment from an artistic and community-based perspective.
One of the core projects within this practice is Poesía en Camino (“Poetry on the Way”), which combines walking with collective poetic creation and collaborative mapping. In this project, neighbors and participants walk through their surroundings, sharing memories, desires, and local concerns that are then transformed into texts, images, or sound recordings. The project adapts to different contexts—urban or rural—and always involves strong participatory and transformative dimensions.
